backer board is made of XPS foam board(CFC&HCFC free, blue closed cell core) in core and coated with fiberglass mesh and polymer cement mortar on both sides. It makes the backer board ideal base for setting tiles using the thin bed process. The XPS foam board in core is 100% waterproof and offers expectional resistance to water vapor. As proof, these panels meet the stringent standards of ASTM/ANSI testing for waterproofing and are suitable as part of a waterproof installation when seams and fastener heads are properly treated.

Question 1: Are you Manufactory or Trading Company?
--Our company Kurtin Metal & Hardware / Kurtin Building Material is the exporting center itself. we are also the share holder of the XPS factory located in the countryside.Therefore, our price, quality and customer service can be integrated to a perfect combination.
Question 2:How does your factory do regarding quality control?
--In order to keep our none compensation record, quality is our first priority. Kurtin People always attach great importance to quality control from the very beginning of raw material sourcing to the end of production. Each batch of products will be tested with caution before packing and delivery.
Question 3: What is your quality assurance policy?
--All of our buyer's payment will be protected by after sale service team. Payment will be refundable if the product quality or delivery time does not meet the agreed terms. We can also sign the refund agreement with any of our buyer. The main purpose is not to refund the payment, because we understand the buyer need the good quality products, not the payment refunded and time wasted. But this is to prove that we are fully confident with the quality of our products.
Question 4: Can I get samples before ordering?
--Yes for standard product, samples can be provided for you with free of charge, for non-standard product, please contact us for discussion.
Question 5: Is your XPS foam board you produce environment friendly or green product?
--We promise our XPS board to be 100% fresh material, they are totally environment friendly whether fireproof or not, they are safe to human being and environment, free of HBCD.
Question 6: Can we have SGS inspection for the XPS form board before delivery?
--Sure. Test and inspection are welcome before delivery. Kurtin people always want to deliver the right products to our customers.
